Primarily responsible for providing overall direction for multiple projects and developing new business opportunities relative to a particular client, group of clients, or geographical area.
Projects may involve more than one discipline. Required to attend bid meetings, work closely with Estimators in preparing bids, as well as with Operations Manager, Safety Managers, and Field Foreman /Field Superintendent on day to day basis. Must be willing to travel as needed.
Previous experience in leading a 5-8 man crew in the erection of new aboveground storage tanks. Should be experienced in Maintenance & Repair aspects of this same trade.
Primarily responsible to perform all day to day supervision of a field crew and uphold the highest of safety & quality standards. Ability to still perform all duties of a Welder if needed. Ability to read blueprints. Has a good understanding of API codes. Is in good standing with, or willing to join, the Boilermakers Union and maintain that status. Ability to travel for extended periods of time.
Previous experience as a Tank Erection Foreman and is also experienced in Maintenance & Repair aspects of this same trade. Primarily responsible to oversee day to day operations of multiple crews and Field Foreman. Works closely with Operations Manager, Project Managers, Field Foreman, and client representatives. Ensures all aspects of the construction is being done per design and will uphold the highest of safety & quality standards.
Primarily responsible to perform drawing takeoffs, apply historical labor units and obtain current material costs for all types of work within the above ground storage tank industry. This position requires the individual to work independently and demonstrate time organization skills to accomplish the work within deadlines.
Previous experience in the erection of new above ground storage tanks, and/or experienced in maintenance & repair of storage tanks. Ability to pass a DOT drug & alcohol test. Is in good standing with, or willing to join, the Boilermakers Union and maintain that status. Ability to travel for extended periods of time.
Prior related experience and/or training in a fabrication environment.
Must be certified in 3 of the following processes listed below (must have a minimum of GMAW / FCAW 6G):
Proficient at arc gouging. Capable of welding qualified processes without supervision. Must maintain less than a 3% weld failure rate on RT/ UT examination. Responsible for performing welding functions per job specifications. Selects equipment and plans layout and assembly of welding. Works closely and interacts with supervision and QA/QC. Works with precise limits and standards of accuracy. Ability to pass a DOT drug & alcohol test. Is in good standing with, or willing to join the Boilermakers Union and maintain that status. Ability to travel for extended periods of time.
